The Baron and Blue Foundation awarded $365,000 in grants to 19 Dallas non-profit organizations during its fall cycle of funding. Grant recipients help the homeless in Dallas County by providing transitional housing, permanent supportive housing and educational services for families, children and individuals.

This year’s recipients for the fall cycle were Interfaith Housing Coalition, Our Friends Place, Genesis Women’s Shelter, Union Gospel Mission, Frazier Revitalization, Human Rights Initiative of Dallas, SoupMobile, AIDS Services of Dallas, Under 1 Roof, Legacy Counseling Center, The Family Place, Housing Crisis Center, LifeNet, Dallas Furniture Bank, Family Gateway, CitySquare, and Nexus Recovery Center.

Special grants were awarded to The Larry Hagman Foundation and the Dallas Independent School District Homeless Education program.

“It is just wonderful to see the positive impact these organizations have in the local community.  The Baron and Blue Foundation is proud to support their efforts to one day end homelessness in Dallas.” said Lisa Blue, the Foundation’s Co-founder and Vice President.
