The Baron and Blue Foundation awarded $365,000 in grants to 19 Dallas non-profit organizations during its fall 2012 cycle of funding. “It is just wonderful to see the positive impact these organizations have in the local community. The Baron and Blue Foundation is proud to support their efforts to one day end homelessness in Dallas.” said Lisa Blue, the Foundation’s Co-founder and Vice President.
The Baron and Blue Foundation, founded by Lisa Blue, has awarded more than $200,000 in grants to Dallas-area nonprofit organizations during its spring funding cycle. All of the grant recipients help the homeless in Dallas County by providing emergency shelter, food, medical assistance, counseling, clothing, training or treatment programs.
“Helping the homeless in Dallas is a cause very close to my heart and something that I am deeply honored to support,” said Lisa Blue Baron, the foundation’s co-founder and vice president.
The Baron and Blue Foundation strives to enhance the function of non-profit organizations in the Dallas Community by assisting to maintain existing programs and further opportunities for grassroots organizations focusing on homelessness, transitional housing and the needs of the underserved.
